Deleted my Public_html folder, now my website is broken. Now what?
Solution
Please do not delete the folder Public_html if you are attempting to clear out files on your account.
But if you have accidentally done this already, sometimes can we restore the files back.
Although all you need to do is select "new folder" then call it "public_html".
Next put a check next to "public_html" that you just made, then select "permissions" at the top.
Enter in "750" then press ok. The "public_html" needs to be set to this permission for it to function correctly.
Now if you like you can create a "cgi-bin" folder inside the "public_html" folder, again make sure to set the permission on that folder.
The cgi-bin folder needs to be set to "755".
